Artistic views shaft Wii owners

We all know that the Wii gets the shaft in terms of content on a regular basis. But why? Well, when it comes to Guitar Hero, it seems that thatgamingsite.com has the answer. The short and skinny is that Artists want some of their songs to be kept in track packs, and apparently, the Wii can’t support that. Which is a whole bunch of bull, and I can explain why.

First off, it doesn’t seem its an improbability that you could create some sort of proprietary archiving method. Which then, the game could take and extract, separating the files, and allowing you to play each song separately, right? Apparently I’m wrong, or these guys just didn’t think about it. Obviously you’d need some way to “unzip” the archive, and if that isn’t included on the disk, why waste your time with having people download a whole program. Oh, wait, here’s a good reason; ’cause people want these songs, and you’ll make even more on your billions and billions of dollars. Idiots.

I mean, I believe you can already do “zipping”, or at least “unzipping” on the Wii via homebrew. Right? Anyone know for sure? If I’m wrong I stand corrected. And if so, I pray someone out there writes a program just to prove I’m right. But, lets say this sort of thing can’t be done. Just for the sake of argument. Guess since its a hardware limitation, we’re SOL, yeah? No, there’s another work around.

You sell them in packs, but you download each song individually. Duh. God, easiest work around ever. Everyone is still happy. But I guess when it comes to third party developers for the Wii, we’ll always get the ones that can’t think outside of the box. This is whats wrong with the Wii, the developers can’t pull their heads out of their asses.

Yeah, I know I’m being an asshole right now. So sue me. Does anyone disagree? Is this not what they should be doing? Seriously…
